But they rejoiced against me, and came together: scourges were gathered together upon me, and I knew not.

Blessed is the man to whom the Lord hath not imputed sin, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

They are all gone aside, they are become unprofitable together: there is none that doth good, no not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre: with their tongues they acted deceitfully; the poison of asps is under their lips. Their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: their feet are swift to shed blood. Then hear thou from heaven, that is, from thy firm dwelling-place, their prayers, and do judgment, and forgive thy people, although they have sinned.

If I was not humbly minded, but exalted my soul: As a child that is weaned is towards his mother, so reward in my soul.

That thou mayest open thy eyes upon this house, day and night, upon the place wherein thou hast promised that thy name should be called upon,
