And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the ways of David his father: He declined not, neither to the right hand, nor to the left.
Decline not to the right hand, nor to the left: turn away thy foot from evil. For the Lord knoweth the ways that are on the right hand: but those are perverse which are on the left hand. But he will make thy courses straight, he will bring forward thy ways in peace.
And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in all the ways of David his father: he turned not aside to the right hand, or to the left.
Because David had done that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, and had not turned aside from any thing that he commanded him, all the days of his life, except the matter of Urias the Hethite.
And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it to thee: and thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and followed me with all his heart, doing that which was well pleasing in my sight:
Only take courage, and be careful to observe all things that are written in the book of the law of Moses. And turn not aside from them neither to the right hand nor to the left:
Take courage therefore, and be very valiant: that thou mayst observe and do all the law, which Moses my servant hath commanded thee. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayst understand all things which thou dost.
And that his heart be not lifted up with pride over his brethren, nor decline to the right or to the left: that he and his sons may reign a long time over Israel.
And in the eighth year of his reign, when he was yet a boy, he began to seek the God of his father David: and in the twelfth year after he began to reign, he cleansed Juda and Jerusalem from the high places, and the groves, and the idols, and the graven things.
