Thine are riches, and thine is glory: thou hast dominion over all. In thy hand is power and might: in thy hand greatness, and the empire of all things.
And the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. And he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-asses.
And his possession was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she-asses, and a family exceeding great: and this man was great among all the people of the East.
And he built towers in the wilderness, and dug many cisterns, for he had much cattle both in the plains, and in the waste of the desert. He had also vineyards and dressers of vines in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he was a man that loved husbandry.
And Amasias said to the man of God: What will then become of the hundred talents which I have given to the soldiers of Israel? And the man of God answered him: The Lord is rich enough to be able to give thee much more than this.
But remember the Lord thy God, that he hath given thee strength, that he might fulfil his covenant, concerning which he swore to thy fathers, as this present day sheweth.
