And Ozias the king was a leper unto the day of his death. And he dwelt in a house apart, being full of the leprosy for which he had been cast out of the house of the Lord. And Joatham his son governed the king's house, and judged the people of the land.

All the time that he is a leper and unclean, he shall dwell alone without the camp.

Now there were four lepers, at the entering-in of the gate. And they said one to another: What mean we to stay here till we die?

Mary therefore was put out of the camp seven days: and the people moved not from that place until Mary was called again.

And when the man hath washed his clothes, he shall shave all the hair of his body, and shall be washed with water: and being purified, he shall enter into the camp, yet so that he tarry without his own tent seven days.

And Azarias the high priest, and all the rest of the priests looked upon him, and saw the leprosy in his forehead; and they made haste to thrust him out. Yea himself also being frightened hasted to go out, because he had quickly felt the stroke of the Lord.

And the children of Israel did so: and they cast them forth without the camp, as the Lord had spoken to Moses.

Joatham was five and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. The name of his mother was Jerusa the daughter of Sadoc.
