And he sought for Ochozias himself, and took him lying hid in Samaria. And when he was brought to him he killed him. And they buried him, because he was the son of Josaphat, who had sought the Lord with all his heart. And there was no more hope that any one should reign of the race of Ochozias.

So when Jehu was rooting out the house of Achab he found the princes of Juda, and the sons of the brethren of Ochozias, who served him: and he slew them.

He was two and thirty years old when he began his reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. And he walked not rightly. And they buried him in the city of David: but not in the sepulchres of the kings.

You shall seek me: and shall find me, when you shall seek me with all your heart.

But good works are found in thee, because thou hast taken away the groves out of the land of Juda, and hast prepared thy heart to seek the Lord the God of thy fathers.

And departing they left him in great diseases. And his servants rose up him, for revenge of the blood of the son of Joiada the priest. And they slew him in his bed: and he died. And they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings.

And after he revolted from the Lord, they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem. And he fled into Lachis; and they sent, and killed him there.

And his servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house.
