And thou shalt set upon the table loaves of proposition, in my sight always.

This is what thou shalt sacrifice upon the altar: Two lambs of a year old, every day continually.

And the other lamb thou shalt offer in the evening, according to the rite of the morning oblation, and according to what we have said: for a savour of sweetness.

Adding in the sacrifice the libations, which are offered withal, and burning them upon the altar, besides the ceremonies of the morning holocaust.

Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: These are the feasts of the Lord, which you shall call holy.

And on the sabbath day you shall offer two lambs of a year old without blemish: and two tenths of flour tempered with oil in sacrifice: and the libations,

And on the first day of the month you shall offer a holocaust to the Lord, two calves of the herd, one ram, and seven lambs of a year old, without blemish.

And Solomon made all the vessels for the house of God, and the golden altar, and the tables, upon which were the loaves of proposition;

That every day an offering might be made on it according to the ordinance of Moses: in the sabbaths: and on the new moons: and on the festival days three times a year, that is to say, in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.

And they offer holocausts to the Lord, every day, morning and evening, and incense made according to the ordinance of the law, and the leaves are set forth on a most clean table, and there is with us the golden candlestick, and the lamps thereof, to be lighted always in the evening: for we keep the precepts of the Lord our God, whom you have forsaken.

And when they had finished all the works, they brought the rest of the money before the king and Joiada: and with it were made vessels for the temple, for the ministry, and for holocausts and bowls, and other vessels of gold and silver. And holocausts were offered in the house of the Lord continually all the days of Joiada.

In the first year of Cyrus the king: Cyrus the king decreed, that the house of God should be built, which is in Jerusalem, in the place where they may offer sacrifices; and that they lay the foundations that may support the height of threescore cubits, and the breadth of threescore cubits,

And we cast lots among the priests, and the Levites, and the people for the offering of wood, that it might be brought into the house of our God by the houses of our fathers at set times, from year to year: to burn upon the altar of the Lord our God, as it is written in the law of Moses.
