The aged women, in like manner, in holy attire, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teaching well:

Do not still drink water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake, and thy frequent infirmities.

Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking care of it, not by constraint, but willingly, according to God: not for filthy lucre's sake, but voluntarily:

Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have dealt deceitfully. The venom of asps is under their lips.

A sacrifice to God is an afflicted spirit: a contrite and humbled heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

It behoveth therefore a bishop to be blameless, the husband of one wife, sober, prudent, of good behaviour, chaste, given to hospitality, a teacher,
