And the war began again. And David went out and fought against the Philistines, and defeated them with a great slaughter: and they fled from his face.

And the princes of the Philistines went forth: and from the beginning of their going forth David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul. And his name became very famous.

David therefore, and his men, went to Ceila, and fought against the Philistines; and brought away their cattle; and made a great slaughter of them. And David saved the inhabitants of Ceila.

But the king of Israel going out overthrew the horses and chariots, and slew the Syrians with a great slaughter.
