Let our lord give orders, and thy servants who are before thee will seek out a man skilful in playing on the harp, that when the evil spirit from the Lord is upon thee he may play with his hand, and thou mayest bear it more easily.

But now bring me hither a minstrel. And when the minstrel played, the hand of the Lord came upon him, and he said:

Blessed are thy men, and blessed are thy servants, who stand before thee always, and hear thy wisdom.

And the evil spirit from the Lord came upon Saul: and he sat in his house, and held a spear in his hand. And David played with his hand.

And Saul said to his servants: Provide me then some man that can play well, and bring him to me.
