Now therefore go, and smite Amalec, and utterly destroy all that he hath. Spare him not, nor covet any thing that is his; but slay both man and woman, child and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

And when he saw Amalec, he took up his parable, and said: Amalec, the beginning of nations, whose latter ends shall be destroyed.

And Nobe the city of the priests he smote with the edge of his sword, both men and women, children, and sucklings, and ox and ass, and sheep with the edge of the sword.

Therefore kill all that are of the male sex, even of the children: and put to death the women that have carnally known men.

And the Lord sent thee on the way, and said: Go, and kill the sinners of Amalec; and thou shalt fight against them until thou hast utterly destroyed them.

And David wasted all the land, and left neither man nor woman alive: and took away the sheep and the oxen, and the asses, and the camels, and the apparel, and returned and came to Achis.

And David slew them from the evening unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, but four hundred young men, who had gotten upon camels, and fled.

And he said to me: Who art thou? And I said to him: I am an Amalecite.

He took it and destroyed it: the king also thereof and all the towns round about he destroyed with the edge of the sword. He left not in it any remains: as he had done to Hebron and Lebna and to their kings, so did he to Dabir and to the king thereof.
