WHEREFORE thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest. For wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself. For thou dost the same things which thou judgest.

Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam in thy own eye, and then shalt thou see to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

But that we write unto them, that they refrain themselves from the pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

Moreover you shall not eat the blood of any creature whatsoever, whether of birds or beasts.

Every one that eateth blood, shall perish from among the people.

If any man whosoever of the house of Israel, and of the strangers that sojourn among them, eat blood, I will set my face against his soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

You shall not eat with blood. You shall not divine nor observe dreams.

Only the blood thou shalt not eat: but thou shalt pour it out upon the earth as water.

Only beware of this, that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is for the soul. And therefore thou must not eat the soul with the flesh:

Only thou shalt take heed not to eat their blood, but pour it out on the earth as water.

And Saul said: Disperse yourselves among the people; and tell them to bring me every man his ox and his ram, and slay them upon this stone, and eat. And you shall not sin against the Lord in eating with the blood. So all the people brought every man his ox with him till the night; and slew them there.

Saving that flesh with blood you shall not eat.
