If thy people go out to war against their enemies, by what way soever thou shalt send them, they shall pray to thee towards the way of the city, which thou hast chosen, and towards the house, which I have built to thy name.

And the Lord looked upon him, and said: Go in this thy strength: and then shalt deliver Israel out of the hand of Madian. Know that I have sent thee.

And she sent and called Barac the son of Abinoem out of Cedes in Nephtali. And she said to him: The Lord God of Israel hath commanded thee: Go, and lead an army to mount Thabor, and thou shalt take with thee ten thousand fighting men of the children of Nephtali, and of the children of Zabulon.

And then hear thou in heaven their prayers, and their supplications: and do judgment for them.

And Josaphat stood in the midst of the assembly of Juda, and Jerusalem, in the house of the Lord before the new court,
