And every man shall sit under his vine, and under his fig tree, and there shall be none to make them afraid: for the mouth of the Lord of hosts hath spoken.

In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, every man shell call his friend under the vine and under the fig tree.

Do not hearken to Ezechias. For thus saith the king of the Assyrians: Do with me that which is for your advantage, and come out to me. And every man of you shall eat of his own vineyard, and of his own fig-tree: and you shall drink water of your own cisterns,

Then all the children of Israel went out and gathered together as one man from Dan to Bersabee, with the land of Galaad, to the Lord in Maspha.

And thou shalt say: I will go up to the land which is without a wall, I will come to them that are at rest, and dwell securely: all these dwell without a wall, they have no bars nor gates:

Iniquity shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction in thy borders: and salvation shall possess thy walls, and praise thy gates.

And the Lord sent a pestilence upon Israel, from the morning unto the time appointed. And there died of the people from Dan to Bersabee seventy thousand men.

But this seemeth to me to be good counsel: Let all Israel be gathered to thee, from Dan to Bersabee, as the sand of the sea which cannot be numbered. And thou shalt be in the midst of them.

And all Israel from Dan to Bersabee knew that Samuel was a faithful prophet of the Lord.

The son, that shall be born to thee, shall be a most quiet man: for I will make him rest from all his enemies round about. And therefore he shall be called Peaceable: and I will give peace and quietness to Israel all his days.

Do not hearken to Ezechias, for thus said the king of the Assyrians: Do with me that which is for your advantage, and come out to me, and eat ye every one of his vine, and every one of his fig-tree, and drink ye every one the water of his cistern,

And they shall bear their confusion, and all the transgressions wherewith they have transgressed against me, when they shall dwell in their land securely fearing no man:
