And on the next day, whilst they were going on their journey, and drawing nigh to the city, Peter went up to the higher parts of the house to pray, about the sixth hour.

And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and he passed the whole night in the prayer of God.

And when he was gone forward a little, he fell flat on the ground; and he prayed, that if it might be, the hour might pass from him.

And having dismissed the multitude, he went into a mountain alone to pray. And when it was evening, he was there alone.

But Josue rent his garments, and fell flat on the ground before the ark of the Lord until the evening, both he and all the ancients of Israel: and they put dust upon their heads.

Which when Abraham's servant heard, falling down to the ground, he adored the Lord.

And Elias said to Achab: Go up, eat, and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.

As I live (saith the King, whose name is the Lord of hosts), as Thabor is among the mountains and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he come.

And Samuel cried unto the Lord: and the Lord sent thunder and rain that day.

Corn desireth clouds, and the clouds spread their light:
