And Amri did evil in the sight of the Lord, and acted wickedly above all that were before him.

Now there was not such another as Achab, who was sold to do evil in the sight of the Lord: for his wife Jezabel set him on.

But hast done evil above all that were before thee, and hast made thee strange gods and molten gods, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back:

And he did evil before the Lord, but not like his father and his mother: for he took away the statues of Baal, which his father had made.

And he planted a grove. And Achab did more to provoke the Lord, the God of Israel, than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

And he did evil in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the way of his father and his mother, and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, who made Israel to sin.

And when Joram saw Jehu, he said: Is there peace, Jehu? And he answered: What peace? So long as the fornications of Jezabel thy mother, and her many sorceries are in their vigour.

And he did evil before the Lord: but not as the kings of Israel that had been before him.

But hast walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and hast made Juda and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit fornication, imitating the fornication of the house of Achab: moreover also thou hast killed thy brethren, the house of thy father, better men than thyself:
