And when they heard that Zambri had rebelled, and slain the king, all Israel made Amri their king, who was general over Israel in the camp that day.

So Jehu the son of Josaphat the son of Namsi conspired against Joram. Now Joram had besieged Ramoth Galaad, he and all Israel, fighting with Hazael king of Syria.

For Josachar the son of Semaath, and Jozabad the son of Somer, his servants, struck him; and he died. And they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Amasias his son reigned in his stead.

And departing they left him in great diseases. And his servants rose up him, for revenge of the blood of the son of Joiada the priest. And they slew him in his bed: and he died. And they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings.
