And Asa did that which was good and pleasing in the sight of his God: and he destroyed the altars of foreign worship, and the high places.

But high places were left in Israel: nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.

And he called upon the Lord God, and said: Lord, there is no difference with thee, whether thou help with few, or with many. Help us, O Lord our God: for with confidence in thee, and in thy name, we are come against this multitude. O Lord thou art our God. Let not man prevail against thee.

And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him: end his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father.

And he took away the effeminate out of the land: and he removed all the filth of the idols, which his fathers had made.

And Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the precepts of David his father. Only he sacrificed in the high places, and burnt incense.

And he walked in all the way of Asa his father, and he declined not from it: and he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord.

But yet he took not away the high places: for the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.

And he did that which was right before the Lord, but yet not like David his father. He did according to all things that Joas his father did.

And he did that which was pleasing before the Lord, according to all that his father Amasias had done.

And he did that which was good before the Lord, according to all that David his father had done.

And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in all the ways of David his father: he turned not aside to the right hand, or to the left.

And Abia slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead. In his days the land was quiet ten years.

And he walked in the way of his father Asa, and departed not from it, doing the things that were pleasing before the Lord.
