And Jeroboam was a valiant and mighty man: and Solomon seeing him a young man ingenious and industrious made him chief over the tributes of all the house of Joseph.
And I will strengthen the house of Juda, and save the house of Joseph: and I will bring them back again, because I will have mercy on them: and they shall be as they were when I had cast them off, for I am the Lord their God, and will hear them.
So shall it fall out: That I will destroy the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: and his yoke shall be taken away from them: and his burden shall be taken off their shoulder.
