Meat for the belly, and the belly for the meats; but God shall destroy both it and them: but the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

Or know you not, that your members are the temple of the Holy Ghost, who is in you, whom you have from God; and you are not your own?

Know you not, that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Let no sin therefore reign in your mortal body, so as to obey the lusts thereof.

Know you not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

Therefore, my brethren, you also are become dead to the law, by the body of Christ; that you may belong to another, who is risen again from the dead, that we may bring forth fruit to God.

Your fathers did eat manna in the desert, and are dead.

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that which endureth unto life everlasting, which the Son of man will give you. For him hath God, the Father, sealed.

Because it entereth not into his heart, but goeth into the belly, and goeth out into the privy, purging all meats?

These are the things that defile a man. But to eat with unwashed hands doth not defile a man.

And they that are Christ's, have crucified their flesh, with the vices and concupiscences.
