Therefore judge not before the time; until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall every man have praise from God.

Be patient therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth: patiently bearing till he receive the early and latter rain.

For we must all be manifested before the judgement seat of Christ, that every one may receive the proper things of the body, according as he hath done, whether it be good or evil.

Every man's work shall be manifest; for the day of the Lord shall declare it, because it shall be revealed in fire; and the fire shall try every man's work, of what sort it is.

Neither is there any creature invisible in his sight: but all things are naked and open to his eyes, to whom our speech is.

For not he who commendeth himself, is approved, but he, whom God commendeth.

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

WHEREFORE thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest. For wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself. For thou dost the same things which thou judgest.

And I saw the dead, great and small, standing in the presence of the throne, and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged by those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And all things that are done, God will bring into judgment for every error, whether it be good or evil.

That the trial of your faith (much more precious than gold which is tried by the fire) may be found unto praise and glory and honour at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

But he is a Jew, that is one inwardly; and the circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

But we renounce the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor adulterating the word of God; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience, in the sight of God.

Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? To his own lord he standeth or falleth. And he shall stand: for God is able to make him stand.

How can you believe, who receive glory one from another: and the glory which is from God alone, you do not seek?

Detract not one another, my brethren. He that detracteth his brother, or he that judgeth his brother, detracteth the law, and judgeth the law. But if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you shall be forgiven.

Blessed is that servant, whom when his lord shall come he shall find so doing.

Behold, he cometh with the clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they also that pierced him. And all the tribes of the earth shall bewail themselves because of him. Even so. Amen.

And when the prince of pastors shall appear, you shall receive a never fading crown of glory.

For yourselves know perfectly, that the day of the Lord shall so come, as a thief in the night.

Jesus saith to him: So I will have him to remain till I come, what is it to thee? follow thou me.

Saying: Where is his promise or his coming? for since the time that the fathers slept, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant: because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

And you shall return, and shall see the difference between the just and the wicked: and between him that serveth God, and him that serveth him not.

Now of these Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying: Behold, the Lord cometh with thousands of his saints,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of the Lord, by which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with the burning heat?

But every one in his own order: the firstfruits Christ, then they that are of Christ, who have believed in his coming.

For as often as you shall eat this bread, and drink the chalice, you shall shew the death of the Lord, until he come.

So that nothing is wanting to you in any grace, waiting for the manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

To them indeed, who according to patience in good work, seek glory and honour and incorruption, eternal life:

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all tribes of the earth mourn: and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with much power and majesty.

Rejoice therefore, O young man, in thy youth, and let thy heart be in that which is good in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thy heart, and in the sight of thy eyes: and know that for all these God will bring thee into judgment.

Now he that planteth, and he that watereth, are one. And every man shall receive his own reward, according to his own labour.

His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant, because thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will place thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth up to light the shadow of death.

For my eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, and their iniquity hath not been hid from my eyes.

I have heard what the prophets said that prophesy lies in my name and say: I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

They shall offer victims, they shall sacrifice flesh, and shall eat it, and the Lord will not receive them: now will he remember their iniquity, and will visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.

Therefore fear them not. For nothing is covered that shall not be revealed: nor hid, that shall not be known.

This saying therefore went abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die. And Jesus did not say to him: He should not die; but, So I will have him to remain till I come, what is it to thee?

If any man's work abide, which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor the church of God.

Grudge not, brethren, one against another, that you may not be judged. Behold the judge standeth before the door.

A man shall be known by his learning: but he that is vain and foolish, shall be exposed to contempt.

But that I may not be thought as it were to terrify you by epistles,
