Because the Lord giveth wisdom: and out of his mouth cometh prudence and knowledge.

That as in all things you abound in faith, and word, and knowledge, and all carefulness; moreover also in your charity towards us, so in this grace also you may abound.

That in all things you are made rich in him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;

Who givest salvation to kings: who hast redeemed thy servant David from the malicious sword:

But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and justice, and sanctification, and redemption:

And thou gavest them thy good Spirit to teach them; and thy manna thou didst not withhold from their mouth; and thou gavest them water for their thirst.

Charity never falleth away: whether prophecies shall be made void, or tongues shall cease, or knowledge shall be destroyed.

Who answered and said to them: Because to you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven: but to them it is not given.

This is my covenant with them, saith the Lord: My spirit that is in thee and my words that I have put in thy mouth shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever.

The Lord hath given me a learned tongue, that I should know how to uphold by word him that is weary. He wakeneth in the morning: in the morning he wakeneth my ear, that I may hear him as a master.

But, as I see, there is a spirit in men, and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth understanding.

And I have filled him with the spirit of God, with wisdom and understanding, and knowledge in all manner of work.

And if I should have prophecy and should know all mysteries, and all knowledge, and if I should have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

And I myself also, my brethren, am assured of you, that you also are full of love, replenished with all knowledge, so that you are able to admonish one another.

For what man knoweth the things of a man, but the spirit of a man that is in him? So the things also that are of God no man knoweth, but the Spirit of God.

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that we may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, unless I speak to you either in revelation, or in knowledge, or in prophecy, or in doctrine?

How is it then, brethren? When you come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a revelation, hath a tongue, hath an interpretation: let all things be done to edification.

For our glory is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity of heart and sincerity of God, and not in carnal wisdom, but in the grace of God, we have conversed in this world: and more abundantly towards you.

Now thanks be to God, who always maketh us to triumph in Christ Jesus, and manifesteth the odour of his knowledge by us in every place.

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God, in the face of Christ Jesus.

In chastity, in knowledge, in longsuffering, in sweetness, in the Holy Ghost, in charity unfeigned,

For although I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but in all things we have been made manifest to you.
