Wherefore, my dearly beloved, fly from the service of idols.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, they shall have their portion in the pool burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, to refrain yourselves from carnal desires which war against the soul,

Without are dogs, and sorcerers, and unchaste, and murderers, and servers of idols, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.

Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of the flesh and of the spirit, perfecting sanctification in the fear of God.

Wherefore, Go out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing:

Neither become ye idolaters, as some of them, as it is written: The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Wherefore? Because I love you not? God knoweth it.

Revenge not yourselves, my dearly beloved; but give place unto wrath, for it is written: Revenge is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord.

Therefore, my dearly beloved brethren, and most desired, my joy and my crown; so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

But I most gladly will spend and be spent myself for your souls; although loving you more, I be loved less.

Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy, a brother: to Philemon, our beloved and fellow labourer;

Of old, think you that we excuse ourselves to you? We speak before God in Christ; but all things, my dearly beloved, for your edification.

But that we write unto them, that they refrain themselves from the pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

But now I have written to you, not to keep company, if any man that is named a brother, be a fornicator, or covetous, or a server of idols, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner: with such a one, not so much as to eat.

I speak as to wise men: judge ye yourselves what I say.

What then? Do I say, that what is offered in sacrifice to idols, is any thing? Or, that the idol is any thing?

But, my dearly beloved, we trust better things of you, and nearer to salvation; though we speak thus.
