Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no schisms among you; but that you be perfect in the same mind, and in the same judgment.

That there might be no schism in the body; but the members might be mutually careful one for another.

Being of one mind one towards another. Not minding high things, but consenting to the humble. Be not wise in your own conceits.

For the rest, brethren, rejoice, be perfect, take exhortation, be of one mind, have peace; and the God of peace and of love shall be with you.

A gradual canticle. Behold now bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord: Who stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.

For first of all I hear that when you come together in the church, there are schisms among you; and in part I believe it.

Only let your conversation be worthy of the gospel of Christ: that, whether I come and see you, or, being absent, may hear of you, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind labouring together for the faith of the gospel.

Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark them who make dissensions and offences contrary to the doctrine which you have learned, and avoid them.

For Christ therefore we are ambassadors, God as it were exhorting by us. For Christ, we beseech you, be reconciled to God.

Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me, as I also am of Christ.

And the multitude of believers had but one heart and one soul: neither did any one say that aught of the things which he possessed, was his own; but all things were common unto them.

And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me all days: and that it may be well with them and with their children after them.

I in them, and thou in me; that they may be made perfect in one: and the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast also loved me.

That you esteem them more abundantly in charity, for their work's sake. Have peace with them.

I BESEECH you therefore, brethren, by the mercy of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing unto God, your reasonable service.

A dissension rose again among the Jews for these words.

Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, to refrain yourselves from carnal desires which war against the soul,

I charge thee, before God and Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead, by his coming, and his kingdom:

Nevertheless whereunto we are come, that we be of the same mind, let us also continue in the same rule.

Now I Paul myself beseech you, by the mildness and modesty of Christ, who in presence indeed am lowly among you, but being absent, am bold toward you.

So there arose a dissension among the people because of him.

No man seweth a piece of raw cloth to an old garment: otherwise the new piecing taketh away from the old, and there is made a greater rent.

And nobody putteth a piece of raw cloth unto an old garment. For it taketh away the fullness thereof from the garment, and there is made a greater rent.

I charge thee before God, and Christ Jesus, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by declining to either side.

And we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of our gathering together unto him:

Be ye as I, because I also am as you: brethren, I beseech you: you have not injured me at all.

And we helping do exhort you, that you receive not the grace of God in vain.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, through our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the charity of the Holy Ghost, that you help me in your prayers for me to God,

Some therefore of the Pharisees said: This man is not of God, who keepeth not the sabbath. But others said: How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

And I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that I have often purposed to come unto you, (and have been hindered hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

For it hath been signified unto me, my brethren, of you, by them that are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

For, whereas there is among you envying and contention, are you not carnal, and walk according to man?

For we rejoice that we are weak, and you are strong. This also we pray for, your perfection.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us into his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, will himself perfect you, and confirm you, and establish you.

Who came to the children of Ruben, and of Gad, and the half tribe of Manasses, into the land of Galaad, and said to them:

And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
