May the Lord grant each of you rest  in the house of a new husband.’ She kissed them, and they wept loudly.


But if anyone does not provide  for his own family, especially for his own household, he has denied the faith  and is worse than an unbeliever.


Therefore, I want younger women to marry,  have children, manage their households, and give the adversary no opportunity to accuse us.


If any man thinks he is acting improperly towards the virgin he is engaged to, if she is getting beyond the usual age for marriage, and he feels he should marry #– #he can do what he wants. He is not sinning; they can get married.


Keep his statutes and commands, which I am giving you today, so that you and your children after you may prosper and so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you for all time.’


But when all goes well for you, remember that I was with you. Please show kindness to me by mentioning me to Pharaoh, and get me out of this prison.


Ruth stayed close to Boaz’s female servants and gathered corn until the barley and the wheat harvests were finished.  And she lived with  her mother-in-law.


Now isn’t Boaz our relative?  Haven’t you been working with his female servants? This evening he will be winnowing barley on the threshing-floor.
