Later, when Boaz arrived from Bethlehem, he said to the harvesters, ‘The Lord be with you.’ ‘The Lord bless you,’  they replied.

May the Lord of peace  himself give you peace always in every way.  The Lord be with all of you.


And the angel came to her and said, ‘Greetings, favoured woman! The Lord is with you.’

The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you all.

For I have chosen  him so that he will command his children and his house after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just. This is how the Lord will fulfil to Abraham what he promised him.’


Let those who have believing masters not be disrespectful to them because they are brothers, but serve them even better, since those who benefit from their service are believers and dearly loved.  , Teach and encourage these things.


So Ruth left and entered the field to gather corn behind the harvesters. She happened  to be in the portion of the field belonging to Boaz, who was from Elimelech’s family.


Boaz asked his servant who was in charge of the harvesters, ‘Whose young woman is this? ’


May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and multiply you  so that you become an assembly of peoples.


‘May the Lord bless you and protect you;


‘But I will be with you,’  the Lord said to him. ‘You will strike Midian down as if it were one man.’


Then David said, ‘The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.’ Saul said to David, ‘Go, and may the Lord be with you.’


Salma fathered Bethlehem, and Hareph fathered Beth-gader.


This is what the Lord of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘When I restore their fortunes,  they will once again speak this word in the land of Judah and in its cities: “May the Lord bless you, righteous settlement,  holy mountain.”
