Don’t let your heart envy sinners; instead, always fear the Lord.

Iniquity is atoned for by loyalty and faithfulness, and one turns from evil by the fear of the Lord.

To fear the Lord is to hate evil. I hate arrogant pride, evil conduct, and perverse speech.

A voice came from the throne, saying, Praise our God, all his servants, and the ones who fear him, both small and great!

But the other answered, rebuking him: ‘Don’t you even fear God, since you are undergoing the same punishment?
