For wisdom is better than jewels, and nothing desirable can equal it.

For what will it benefit someone if he gains the whole world yet loses his life? Or what will anyone give in exchange for his life?

Get wisdom – how much better it is than gold! And get understanding – it is preferable to silver.

There is gold and a multitude of jewels, but knowledgeable lips are a rare treasure.

Who can find a wife of noble character? , She is far more precious than jewels.

Wisdom is as good as an inheritance and an advantage to those who see the sun,

And it is not across the sea so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea, get it for us, and proclaim it to us so that we may follow it? ”
