One who isolates himself pursues selfish desires; he rebels against all sound wisdom.

if you seek it like silver and search for it like hidden treasure,

Gold cannot be exchanged for it, and silver cannot be weighed out for its price.

All of them are clear to the perceptive, and right to those who discover knowledge.

And it is not across the sea so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea, get it for us, and proclaim it to us so that we may follow it? ”

Coral and quartz are not worth mentioning. The price of wisdom is beyond pearls.

Get wisdom – how much better it is than gold! And get understanding – it is preferable to silver.
