He who makes a fortune unjustly is like a partridge that hatches eggs it didn’t lay. In the middle of his life his riches will abandon him, so in the end he will be a fool.


Are there still  the treasures of wickedness and the accursed short measure in the house of the wicked?


When a person’s ways please the  Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.


A person’s heart plans his way, but the Lord determines his steps.


Better one handful with rest than two handfuls with effort and a pursuit of the wind.


Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened ox  with hatred.


Better a dry crust with peace than a house full of feasting with strife.


Better the poor person who lives with integrity than the rich one who distorts right and wrong.  ,
