Brood of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks from the overflow   of the heart.


And the tongue is a fire. The tongue, a world of unrighteousness, is placed  among our members. It stains the whole body,  sets the course of life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.


No foul language should come from your mouth, but only what is good for building up someone in need,  so that it gives grace to those who hear.


Then  he said to them, ‘Go into all the world   and preach the gospel to all creation.


What I tell you in the dark, speak in the light. What you hear in a whisper,   proclaim on the housetops.


Your lips drip sweetness like the honeycomb, my bride. Honey and milk  are under your tongue. The fragrance of your garments is like the fragrance of Lebanon.


What you have heard from me  in the presence of many witnesses, commit to faithful  men  who will be able to teach others also.


The tongue of the wise makes knowledge attractive, but the mouth of fools blurts out foolishness.


The house of the righteous has great wealth, but trouble accompanies the income of the wicked.


The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable to the  Lord, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.


so that you may maintain discretion and your lips safeguard knowledge.


The heart of a wise person instructs his mouth; it adds learning to his speech.  ,


A wise person’s heart goes to the   right, but a fool’s heart to the left.
