This too is a sickening tragedy: exactly as he comes, so he will go. What does the one gain  who struggles for the wind?


Indeed, they sow the wind and reap the whirlwind. There is no standing corn; what sprouts fails to yield flour. Even if it did, foreigners would swallow it up.


The one who profits dishonestly  troubles his household, but the one who hates bribes will live.


The evil bow before those who are good, and the wicked, at the gates of the righteous.


About ten days later, the Lord struck Nabal dead.
