Don’t neglect to do what is good and to share, for God is pleased with such sacrifices.


Indeed, it is right  for me to think this way about all of you, because I have you in my heart,  and you are all partners with me in grace, both in my imprisonment  and in the defence  and confirmation of the gospel.


For you sympathised with the prisoners  and accepted with joy the confiscation of your possessions, because you know that you yourselves have a better and enduring possession.  ,


Let the one who is taught the word share  all his good things with the teacher.

Instruct them to do what is good, to be rich in good works,  to be generous and willing to share,

Yes, they were pleased, and indeed are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual benefits,  then they are bound to minister to them in material needs.


However, the Lord said to my father David, ‘Since it was your desire to build a temple for my name, you have done well to have this desire.


I, John, your brother and partner in the affliction,  kingdom,  and endurance  that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.


Sometimes you were publicly exposed to taunts and afflictions, and at other times you were companions of those who were treated that way.
