Suddenly, a violent storm arose on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves #– #but Jesus kept sleeping.

and as they were sailing he fell asleep. Then a fierce windstorm came down on the lake; they were being swamped and were in danger.

I’m glad for you that I wasn’t there so that you may believe. But let’s go to him.’

‘Poor Jerusalem, storm-tossed, and not comforted, I will set your stones in black mortar, and lay your foundations in lapis lazuli.

The mountains see you and shudder; a downpour of water sweeps by. The deep roars with its voice and lifts its waves high.
