Then he went and settled in a town called Nazareth to fulfil what was spoken through the prophets, that he would be called a Nazarene.


He told them, ‘These are my words   that I spoke to you while I was still with you #– #that everything written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets,   and the Psalms   must be fulfilled.’


For I tell you, what is written must be fulfilled in me:   And he was counted among the lawless.   , Yes, what is written about me is coming to its fulfilment.’


He stayed there until Herod’s death, so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet might be fulfilled: Out of Egypt I called my Son.   ,


After  this, when Jesus knew that everything was now finished  that the Scripture might be fulfilled, he said, ‘I’m thirsty.’


But this happened so that the statement written in their law might be fulfilled:   They hated me for no reason.   ,


But all this has happened so that the writings of the prophets   would be fulfilled.’ Then all the disciples  deserted him and ran away.


How, then, would the Scriptures be fulfilled   that say it must happen this way? ’


so that what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: He himself took our weaknesses and carried our diseases.   ,


Now all this took place to fulfil what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet:


He left Nazareth and went to live in Capernaum  by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali.


Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, along the road by the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles.
