I will seek the lost,  bring back the strays, bandage the injured,  and strengthen the weak, but I will destroy  the fat and the strong. I will shepherd them with justice.

‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.


He protects his flock like a shepherd; he gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them in the fold of his garment. He gently leads those that are nursing.


But thanks be to God,  who always leads us in Christ’s triumphal procession and through us spreads the aroma of the knowledge of him in every place.


As these men were leaving, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: ‘What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swaying in the wind?


When Moses heard this, it was acceptable to him.
