Let’s strive to know the  Lord. His appearance is as sure as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the land.


so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work  and growing in the knowledge of God,


I am sure of this, that he who started a good work  in you  will carry it on to completion  until the day of Christ Jesus.


When the plants sprouted and produced corn, then the weeds also appeared.


For as the earth produces its growth, and as a garden enables what is sown to spring up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.


He has made everything appropriate  in its time.  He has also put eternity in their hearts,  but no one can discover the work God has done from beginning to end.


There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven:


The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, shining brighter and brighter until midday.


The Lord God caused to grow out of the ground every tree pleasing in appearance and good for food, including the tree of life in the middle of the garden,  as well as the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.


He sleeps   and rises   night   and day; the seed sprouts and grows, although he doesn’t know how.


As soon as the crop is ready, he sends for the sickle,   because the harvest   has come.’
