When they reached the crowd,  a man approached and knelt down before him.


May it hang over Joab’s head and his father’s whole family, and may the house of Joab never be without someone who has a discharge or a skin disease,  or a man who can only work a spindle,  or someone who falls by the sword or starves.’


As  he was setting out on a journey,  a man ran up, knelt down  before him, and asked him, ‘Good  teacher,  what must I do to inherit  eternal life? ’


He knelt down and cried out with a loud voice,  ‘Lord, do not hold this sin against them! ’ And after saying this, he fell asleep.


Then he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, knelt down, and began to pray,


The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, those with leprosy   are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor are told the good news,


The Lord afflicted the king, and he had a serious skin disease until the day of his death.  He lived in quarantine,  , while Jotham,  the king’s son, was over the household governing the people of the land.


Now four men with a skin disease  were at the entrance to the city gate. They said to each other, ‘Why just sit here until we die?


Is anything impossible for the Lord?  At the appointed time I will come back to you, and in about a year she will have a son.’

For Solomon had made a bronze platform 2.25 metres  long, 2.25 metres wide, and 1.35 metres  high and put it in the court. He stood on it,  knelt down in front of the entire congregation of Israel, and spread out his hands towards heaven.


Moved with compassion,  , Jesus reached out his hand and touched  him. ‘I am willing,’ he told him. ‘Be made clean.’
