Her spirit returned, and she got up at once. Then he gave orders that she be given something to eat.

The dead man came out bound hand and foot with linen strips and with his face wrapped in a cloth. Jesus said to them, ‘Unwrap him and let him go.’

Then he gave them strict orders that no one should know about this and told them to give her something to eat.

So he took her by the hand and called out, ‘Child, get up! ’

Her parents were astounded, but he instructed them to tell no one what had happened.
