When they persisted in questioning him, he stood up and said to them, ‘The one without sin   among you   should be the first to throw a stone at her.’


For he looks at himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of person he was.

Or how can you say to your brother, “Brother, let me take out the splinter that is in your eye,” when you yourself don’t see the beam of wood in your eye? Hypocrite! First take the beam of wood out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the splinter in your brother’s eye.


They also had a few small fish, and after he had blessed them, he said these were to be served as well.
