Moreover, some women from our group astounded us. They arrived early at the tomb,

Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but they didn’t see him.’

Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, ‘I have seen the Lord! ’ And she told them what he had said to her.

He is not here. For he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.

Yet, when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe it.

They went in but did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
