Whoever is faithful   in very little   is also faithful in much, and whoever is unrighteous in very little is also unrighteous in much.

‘His master said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You were faithful over a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Share your master’s joy.”


‘ “Well done, good   servant! ” he told him. “Because you have been faithful   in a very small matter, have authority over ten towns.”

He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was in all God’s household.


He didn’t say this because he cared about the poor but because he was a thief.  He was in charge of the money-bag and would steal part of what was put in it.


After Judas ate the piece of bread, Satan  entered him. So Jesus told him, ‘What you’re doing, do quickly.’


Now when it was time for supper, the devil  had already put it into the heart of Judas,  Simon Iscariot’s son,  to betray  him.


‘Who then is a faithful and wise servant,   whom his master has put in charge of his household, to give them food at the proper time?
