The priest is to sacrifice the sin offering and make atonement for the one to be cleansed from his uncleanness.  Afterwards he will slaughter the burnt offering.

The priest is to take one male lamb and present it as a guilt offering,  along with the one-third of a litre of olive oil, and he will present them as a presentation offering  before the Lord.


He made the one who did not know sin  to be sin  for us,  so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.


For what the law could not do  since it was weakened by the flesh,  God did. He condemned sin in the flesh by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh  as a sin offering,  ,


He must bring his penalty for guilt  for the sin he has committed to the Lord: a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement  on his behalf for his sin.


‘When someone sins in any of these ways: If he has seen, heard, or known about something he has witnessed, and did not respond to a public call to testify, he will bear his iniquity.


The priest is to take some of the blood from the guilt offering and put it on the lobe of the right ear of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.


The priest is to sacrifice them, one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering.  In this way the priest will make atonement for him before the Lord because of his discharge.
