‘Get up! Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach the message that I tell you.’
Speak my words to them whether they listen or refuse to listen, for they are rebellious.
‘Now, get ready. Stand up and tell them everything that I command you. Do not be intimidated by them or I will cause you to cower before them.
‘Get up! Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it because their evil has come up before me.’
After this, Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, ‘See, you are well. Do not sin any more, so that something worse doesn’t happen to you.’
Therefore produce fruit consistent with repentance.
Jonah got up and went to Nineveh according to the Lord’s command. Now Nineveh was an extremely great city, , a three-day walk.
‘Son of man, I have made you a watchman over the house of Israel. When you hear a word from my mouth, give them a warning from me.
