Do not be startled or afraid. Have I not told you and declared it long ago? You are my witnesses! Is there any God but me? There is no other Rock;  I do not know any.


Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand.

because they all saw him and were terrified.  Immediately he spoke with them and said, ‘Have courage!   It is I.   Don’t be afraid.’


‘Don’t be alarmed,’ he told them. ‘You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth,  who was crucified. He has risen!  He is not here. See the place where they put him.


After they had rowed about five or six kilometres,  they saw Jesus walking on the sea. He was coming near the boat, and they were afraid.


Then they were willing to take him aboard, and at once the boat was at the shore where they were heading.
