Indeed, an hour is coming, and has come,   when each of you will be scattered to his own home, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

Sword, awake against my shepherd, against the man who is my associate – this is the declaration of the  Lord of Armies. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will turn my hand against the little ones.


Then Jesus said to them, ‘Tonight all of you will fall away because of me, for it is written: I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.   ,


The one who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone,   because I always do what pleases him.’


And if I do judge, my judgement is true, because it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me.


Then  Jesus said to them, ‘All of you will fall away,   because it is written: I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep   will be scattered.   ,


But all this has happened so that the writings of the prophets   would be fulfilled.’ Then all the disciples  deserted him and ran away.


Then the disciples returned to the place where they were staying.


‘I have spoken these things to you in figures of speech. A time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.


They will ban you from the synagogues.   In fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering service   to God.


But an hour is coming, and is now here,   when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth.   Yes, the Father wants such people to worship him.


Jesus told her, ‘Believe me, woman, an hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.


Jesus replied to them, ‘The hour has come for the Son of Man   to be glorified.


Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear his voice


‘Truly I tell you, an hour is coming, and is now here,   when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.


Then they all deserted him and ran away.


Saul agreed with putting him to death. On that day a severe persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout the land of Judea and Samaria.


Jesus responded to them, ‘Do you now believe?


Then he said to the disciple, ‘Here is your mother.’ And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.


we said farewell to one another and boarded the ship, and they returned home.
