He asked him the third time, ‘Simon, son of John, do you love   me? ’ Peter was grieved  that he asked him the third time, ‘Do you love me? ’ He said, ‘Lord, you know everything;  you know that I love you.’ ‘Feed   my sheep,’ Jesus said.


No creature is hidden from him, but all things are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom  we must give an account.


because I have given them the words you gave me.   They have received them and have known for certain that I came from you.   They have believed that you sent me.


Then some of his disciples said to one another, ‘What is this he’s telling us: “In a little while, you will not see me; again in a little while, you will see me,” and, “Because I am going to the Father”   ? ’


For the Father loves the Son and shows him everything he is doing, and he will show him greater works   than these so that you will be amazed.


Then the woman said to Elijah, ‘Now I know you are a man of God  and the Lord’s word from your mouth is true.’


Jesus did this, the first of his signs, in Cana  of Galilee.  He revealed  his glory,  and his disciples believed in him.


Jesus said to them, ‘If God were your Father, you would love me,   because I came from God   and I am here. For I didn’t come on my own, but he sent me.


‘In that day you will not ask me anything. Truly I tell you, anything you ask the Father in my name, he will give you.


On that day you will ask   in my name, and   I am not telling you that I will ask the Father on your behalf.


Jesus responded to them, ‘Do you now believe?
