While they were eating, he said, ‘Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me.’


‘I’m not speaking about all of you; I know those I have chosen.   But the Scripture   must be fulfilled:   The one who eats my bread   has raised his heel against me.   ,


While they were reclining and eating, Jesus said, ‘Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me #– #one who is eating with me.’


‘Now my soul is troubled. What should I say #– #Father, save me   from this hour? But that is why I came to this hour.


When Jesus saw her crying, and the Jews who had come with her crying, he was deeply moved  in his spirit  and troubled.


They went out from us, but they did not belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us. However, they went out so that it might be made clear that none of them belongs to us.


While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was deeply distressed when he saw that the city was full of idols.


Now when it was time for supper, the devil  had already put it into the heart of Judas,  Simon Iscariot’s son,  to betray  him.


Then Jesus, deeply moved again, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone was lying against it.


After looking round at them with anger,  he was grieved at the hardness  of their hearts and told the man, ‘Stretch out your hand.’ So he stretched it out, and his hand was restored.


He said to them, ‘I am deeply grieved   to the point of death. Remain here and stay awake with me.’


The disciples started looking at one another #– #uncertain which one he was speaking about.
