So they came to Philip,  who was from Bethsaida  in Galilee,  and requested of him, ‘Sir,  we want to see Jesus.’


‘Woe to you, Chorazin!   Woe to you, Bethsaida!   For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon,   they would have repented in sackcloth and ashes long ago.


‘Woe   to you,   Chorazin!   Woe to you, Bethsaida!   For if the miracles   that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon,   they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.


When the apostles returned,  they reported to Jesus all that they had done.  He took them along and withdrew privately to a  town called Bethsaida.


They came to Bethsaida.  They brought a blind  man to him and begged him to touch him.


Immediately  he made his disciples get into the boat and go ahead of him to the other side, to Bethsaida,  while he dismissed the crowd.


Andrew;  Philip  and Bartholomew; Matthew  and Thomas;  James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot,


Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;


When they arrived, they went to the room  upstairs where they were staying: Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas the son of James.


Simon, whom he also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; James and John; Philip and Bartholomew;


The next day Jesus  decided to leave for Galilee. He found Philip  and told him, ‘Follow me.’


Philip found Nathanael  and told him, ‘We have found the one Moses wrote about in the law (and so did the prophets  ): Jesus the son of Joseph,  from Nazareth.’


‘Can anything good  come out of Nazareth? ’ Nathanael asked him. ‘Come and see,’ Philip answered.


‘How do you know me? ’ Nathanael asked. ‘Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you,’ Jesus answered.


So when Jesus looked up and noticed a huge crowd coming towards him,  he asked Philip,  ‘Where will we buy bread so that these people can eat? ’


Philip answered him, ‘Two hundred denarii  , worth of bread wouldn’t be enough for each of them to have a little.’


Philip went and told Andrew;  then Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus.
