Yet I prefer to speak to the Almighty and argue my case before God.

Even if I were in the right, I could not answer. I could only beg my Judge for mercy.


Yes, this will result in my deliverance, for no godless person  can appear before him.


Yet he knows the way I have taken; when he has tested me,  I will emerge as pure gold.
