I will lead the blind by a way they did not know; I will guide them on paths they have not known. I will turn darkness to light in front of them and rough places into level ground. This is what I will do for them, and I will not abandon them.


Your life will be brighter than noonday; its darkness  will be like the morning.


When Jesus heard this, he told him, ‘You still lack one thing: Sell all you have and distribute it to the poor,   and you will have treasure in heaven.   Then come, follow me.’


The one who oppresses the poor person insults his Maker, but one who is kind to the needy honours him.

The one who gives to the poor will not be in need, but one who turns his eyes away will receive many curses.


For look, darkness will cover the earth, and total darkness the peoples; but the Lord will shine over you, and his glory will appear over you.


He doesn’t oppress anyone, hold collateral, or commit robbery. He gives his bread to the hungry and covers the naked with clothing.


People who are far off will come and build the Lord’s temple, and you will know that the Lord of Armies has sent me to you. This will happen when you fully obey the Lord your God.’


It will be a unique day known only to the Lord,  without day or night, but there will be light at evening.
